The Darwin fund has enabled me to spend time in a field work centre that is focusing on phenological plant research in a natural setting. A key objective is to gain insights into methods used by scientist in observing and analysing plant data and plant behaviour against dates and climate observations under certain conditions in the wild. I have chosen Poland because it has consistently been involved in phenological research, plus which the institutions I have chosen to work with have shared phenological evidence with UK institutions. The research will therefore be of benefit to multiple organisations, and encourage transnational relationships as well as further my personal production as an artist.
